SecureView tracks your active browsing time, categorizes every website you visit, and presents clear daily summaries — all with your privacy in mind.
SecureView automatically groups your browsing into intuitive categories — Technology, Social Media, Finance, Entertainment, and more — using a built-in rule set backed by AI classification for unrecognized sites.
Only counts time when you're actually browsing. Idle detection and window focus tracking ensure your stats reflect real usage, not time spent away from your desk.
All browsing data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. You control what is tracked — exclude any domain instantly with one click and clear your data at any time.
SecureView uses a two-stage categorization approach. A built-in rule set covers thousands of popular domains instantly — no network call needed. For sites not in the rule set, an optional AI classification service powered by Amazon Bedrock determines the category.
The AI pipeline runs on AWS infrastructure (CloudFront → Lambda@Edge → API Gateway → Lambda → Bedrock). Only the site URL, hostname, and page title are ever sent — and results are cached locally so the same domain is never sent twice.
